Vitamins for Energy

Vitamins are necessary for health and energy, of which the B vitamins are essential in energy use. The vitamin B complex consisted of 8 vitamins is critical to energize the body, avoiding fatigue. They are thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9) and cyanocobalamin (B12). Additionally, biotin (H Vitamin) facilitates metabolism, which is also important in converting food into energy.

Instead of taking vitamin B complex pills, food sources are the best way to get enough of these energy vitamins, including spinach, broccoli, potatoes, lentils, parsley, tomatoes, green beans, asparagus, split peas, watermelon, bananas, milk, eggs, lean meats, liver and sunflower seeds.
